International Exhibitions of Shahre Aftab

Shahr-e- Aftab International Exhibition


Shahr-e- Aftab International Exhibitionis one of the best and largest exhibitions in Iran. Due to the resolving traffic problems in access routes to the exhibition and creation of modern and professional exhibition spaces, a preliminary plan with a total area of 275 hectares on the edge of the Persian Gulf highway in a highly specialized and international environment was approved by The Islamic City Council of Tehran in which Tehran Municipality took the responsibility of the preparation of the plan for the construction.
The first phase of the complex was operated in 2016simultaneously with the opening of the 29thTehran International Book Fair.





Structure of the Exhibition

1. A permanent roofed area of the exhibition consisting of three halls, totaling 25,000 m2.
2. A temporary space of the exhibition (tent) (about 28,000 m2, which will be replaced with permanent halls on future phases.
3. Melal Hall with an area of over 7,000 m2.
4. A two-story office space with an area of 24,000 m2.
5. Secondary service buildings (restaurants, coffee shops, shops, etc.) each with an area of 2,000 square meters




Services available in Exhibition space

1.    A large metro station of Shahr-e-Aftab to facilitate visitors traveling to the Exhibition.
2.    Providing banking services through the establishment of Bank-e-Shahr and providing services through the Shahrnet system and ATMs.
3.    Multiple parkings into the Exhibition along with the auxiliary parkings of Imam Khomeini holy shrine with a capacity of 11,000 personal cars.
4. Establishment of a Shahrvand's shop.

1. Ease of access to the International Exhibition of Shahr-e-Aftab through the Persian Gulf, Shahid Tondgooyan, Shahid Mahallati highways.
2. The green space of the International Exhibitions of Center of Shahr-e-Aftab with an area of over 40 hectares.
